Monologue & Scene Study
This 6 week course will guide you through exercises designed to introduce you to various acting styles and improvisation. Through this fun and informal setting, you will learn how to ground yourself in your acting technique, strengthen your voice and movement skills and spark your imagination towards character preparation. All students will work on at least one monologue and one scene.
When: July 20th - September 7th
Time: Mondays, 7-9 p.m.
Saturdays, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.

* Peggy Trecker White holds an MFA in Acting from American Repertory Theatre at Harvard University and a BFA from the University of Michigan’s prestigious Musical Theatre program. She has been a member of Actors Equity Association for the last 15 years and has performed on stage all over the United States in such cities as Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Boston and Chicago, as well as internationally in Russia, Germany, Italy and Switzerland. Peggy relocated to Hilton Head Island in the fall of 2007 and has been the vocal coach for McCracken Middle School and the Musical Director for Seahawk Theatre Guild. She has also worked extensively with South Carolina Repertory Company as an actor, dialect & vocal coach and director. Her stage appearance for SCRC include Matt & Ben, Mauritius, The Last 5 Years, Almost Maine, Professional Skepticism and Rabbit Hole. She will be directing Gutenberg! the Musical! for SCRC this summer.
