About Me

Peggy Trecker White holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Michigan and an MFA in Acting from American Repertory Theatre and Moscow Art Theatre at Harvard University. She is a company member with South Carolina Repertory Company, where she has directed Moonlight and Magnolias, Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks and Gutenberg, The Musical. Other directing credits include Into the Woods and Charlotte's Web at Main Street Youth Theatre. Previous performing credits include the Broadway National Tour of Miss Saigon, Death of a Salesman with NYU/Theatre Mitu in Abu Dhabi, The Pavilion, Matt & Ben, Mauritius, The Last 5 Years, Almost Maine, Rabbit Hole with SCRC, Absolution, Antigone and Richard II with American Repertory Theatre, the title role in Miss Julie with Teatre Trouve and Ahraisak with Theatre Mitu. She has taught performance classes through Main Street Youth Theatre, the Beaufort County School System and through her private studio, Hilton Head Performing Arts Studio. She is a certified Pilates Instructor and a teacher in training with Eginton Alignment.
